Field Trips at Scenic Kloogaranna

Organize a school trip to Kloogaranna Puhkeküla in Harju County, starting at 38€ per student —including comfortable accommodation for one night and three meals. Plus, enjoy beautiful natural surroundings and opportunities for sports. There are also rooms available for indoor activities.

Day One

  • 10:25 The train departs from Tallinn

  • 11:11 The train arrives at the Kloogaranna stop; a hike to Kloogaranna Puhkeküla

  • 11:30 Arrive at Kloogaranna Puhkeküla

  • 11:45 Teamwork exercise (How was my year? What would I like to do better next year? 1 hour 15 min)

  • 13:00 Lunch

  • 14:00 Kolme Klooga Hike (10 km / 4 hours)

  • 19:00 Talent Show (2 hours)

  • 21:00 Bonfire and barbecue (1 hour)

Accommodation

For groups of 15–30 people, we offer accommodations at Akel Villa, which features bedrooms of various sizes, shared showers, a lounge, and a sauna. Larger groups can also stay at our camping houses, which accommodate 6 and have facilities for washing and restrooms in a separate building.

We can accommodate teachers, coaches, and instructors in a separate building or in individual rooms.

Check-in begins at 2:00 p.m.
Check-out is by 11:00 a.m.

Catering

We also have a catering company on site that serves healthy meals three times a day.

We offer a self-service buffet where everyone can put together their own meal according to their preferences.

The food we prepare is lactose- and gluten-free, although this does not apply to processed foods (such as ham, hot dogs, bread, etc.).

  • In case of bad weather or for indoor activities, you can rent our seminar rooms and sauna for an additional fee.

  • By prior arrangement, we can offer young people the opportunity to perform maintenance work on our property—painting, raking, planting, trimming brush, etc.

Come by Train!

You can take a train from Tallinn, Saue, and Keila to Kloogaranna Puhkeküla! To do so, find the Kloogaranna train station, where trains arrive about four times a day.

A walk to the Kloogaranna Puhkeküla from the Kloogaranna train station takes about 15 minutes along the beach—the perfect introduction to a nature experience.

If you’d like to take a longer walk, you can get off at the Klooga-Aedlinna stop, where trains run more frequently. The walk to Puhkeküla is 4.7 km, or a little over an hour.

Security

For over 25 years, camps for youth, children, and families have been held on the grounds of Kloogaranna Puhkeküla. We do everything we can to ensure that youth groups feel safe here.

  • During school field trips, we do not accept adult groups or individual visitors.

  • Our property is surrounded by a fence.

  • Alcohol consumption and smoking are not permitted here.

  • We have night guards on the premises.

  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
